In Hidden, a dark sky with a ghostly sunburst lights up a crowd of figures that seem to flow into one another. At the center, a bold woman in heels and a leotard stands hand on hip, looking right at you confident, challenging, performative. The other figures sit or linger, still and waiting, their eyes full of a mix of resilience and fear, like they’re bracing for something unknown. Some are fully formed, others more fragile, fading or emerging, while the central figure slowly hardens, almost turning to stone. It’s about that tension between movement and stillness, life and fixity
