Maze Art St.Moritz: Art Among the Peaks

L’Appartement Gallery is pleased to participate in MAZE Art Fair in St. Moritz with a cross-disciplinary presentation of modern, contemporary art and design. The booth brings together new paintings by Jannis Varelas, Pablo Benzo, Konstantina Krikzoni (Konstantina’s solo exhibition ARMATURA will be on view at the gallery in Geneva until 30 April 2026) and Claudio Massini alongside key historical figures such as the post-war abstract painter Georges Mathieu and the Australian Aboriginal artist Sally Gabori. The works will be presented in both a playful and art historical riff—displayed without hierarchy. In sync with these artists, L’Appartement presents objects and furniture by designers Maarten Vrolijk, Marius Ritiu and Quentin Vuong. 

The expressive intensity of Mathieu and Gabori resonates with the bold chromatic languages of Krikzoni and Benzo, while Varelas and Massini explore structure, repetition and psychological space through distinctly contemporary frameworks. The inclusion of Vrolijk’s and Ritiu’s design pieces expands this dialogue beyond painting and sculpture, underscoring the shared sensibilities—formal, tactile and conceptual—that link them.
